Traveling soon? Passport deadline looming

Starting June 1, you must have a passport book, passport card, or other travel documents approved by the U.S.

Passport applicationgovernment to enter the United States from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Bermuda at all land borders and sea ports of entry.

That means if you visit Canada for a daytrip, or take a trip to Mexico, you need to have travel documents approved by the government to get back into the country.

We know you’re busy, so to make life a little easier, on Saturday march 28, two King County Community Service Center locations will be open for weekend hours to accommodate people who need to get their passport applications submitted before the new travel regulations take effect.
